I have known Pastor Jim Peters for five years. He has an inspiring passion to bless people, a desire to encourage hearts, restore the broken especially through worship and personal ministry. He has a strong affinity with Australian rural communities and their unique context. He and his wife Julie have been a valued part of Horizon Church for many years.

We have had the privilege of having Jim Peters minister at our church on several occasions. Each time lives have been touched by the power of God as Jim led the congregation into worship with his own songs and unique vocal style. His genuine love for people and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is sensed by all as he shares the Word in a simple but effective way. I personally struggled with health issues for a time and Jim would often phone at just the right time with an encouraging word. I appreciate and recommend the ministry of Jim Peters.
We love Jim’s heart for the outback. We have known Jim for 6 years now, coming out to Nyngan a couple of times a year, ministering to us through song and word. In the last couple of years he has bought out a team to do outreach within our town for a whole week Building relationships with people in Nyngan.
