Jim has a desire to see people in relationship with Jesus Christ and is fruitfully involved in the local church.
He has released a number of albums on the ATA label (the same label as the Bee Gees 1st album), and his books are read, and his music broadcast, around the world
Unexpectedly, given his music background, Jim also has several degrees in Theology, including a Diploma in Ministry, a Bachelor of Theology… and, since then, has completed five years of study accredited with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem majoring in Hebrew and a year of Greek. He has spent time over the last 17 years translating the whole Bible from the original texts, and he has now gone back to a further full translation, which is closer to literal, well, as much as English will allow.
Needless to say, Jim’s ministry is centred on the word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. He belongs to Horizon Church Sydney Southwest, where he is privileged to be a member of the pastoral team in addition to his itinerant ministry.
